Polyacrylamide PAM for steel mills is a water-soluble polymer. Specific use:
Steel mill special polyacrylamide series products are high degree of polymerization synthesis of water-soluble linear high molecular polymer. Completely soluble in water, and due to its micro-form, can quickly dissolve. Different types of polyacrylamides have different active groups, which can flocculate different suspended particles and facilitate filtration and separation. This series of products is almost insoluble in any organic solvent, a large number of soluble in water. Clarification and purification, sedimentation promotion, filtration promotion, thickening and other effects.
Method of use:
1, steel mill special polyacrylamide use, with a concentration of 0.01 aqueous solution, to use neutral water without salt debris is appropriate.
2. When the special polyacrylamide for steel mills is dissolved, the anionic polyacrylamide product is evenly sprinkled into the stirring water, and the stirring speed is controlled at 100~300rpm. Appropriate heating (<60 ℃) can accelerate dissolution.
3. Adjust the PH value of the treated liquid to make the anionic polyacrylamide product fully play its role (select the best PH value and the dosage of anionic polyacrylamide through experiments.)
4. When adding the product solution, the mixing with the treated solution should be accelerated. After flocs appear, the stirring speed should be slowed down to facilitate the growth of flocs and accelerate sedimentation.
Note:
1. Dissolution temperature. Dissolution requires a certain temperature to speed up the dissolution. However, if the temperature is too high, the molecular chain of the polymer will be broken and the use effect will be reduced. The more suitable dissolution temperature is 50-60 ℃.
2. Stirring conditions. Dissolution should avoid too strong shear stirring, too strong stirring will break the molecular chain, thereby reducing the use effect. Mixing should adopt low-speed blade, such as anchor type, frame type, multi-layer slurry type, etc. The stirring speed is about 60 r/min. Transport should also avoid the use of high-speed centrifugal pump, more suitable for the use of piston pump or diaphragm pump.
3. Uniform dispersion feeding. The key link of polyacrylamide dissolution is the uniform dispersion of the feed. After the mixer is started, it is best to use mechanical vibration screen feeding (screen mesh number is 10 mesh), try to avoid the production of "large mass", "fish eye" insoluble particles, so that polyacrylamide can be fully dissolved, play a good use effect.
4, avoid and iron solution. In the dissolving, stirring and conveying dosing system, it is best to use plastic, enamel, aluminum, stainless steel and other materials.
